Scouting magazine has always showcased exceptional scout organizations.  During my semi-active years in scouting, Troop 3 appeared in an issue sporting a few color photographs and a bio on one of it's well known alumnus.  The year was 1987, and a copy of the article can be viewed in it's entirety by clicking on the picture.
