The Senior Prom

"This Magic Moment" was the theme of the senior prom for the Spring Class of '73.  

For many those words rang true over and over again.  It is often billed as the ultimate high school party.  The movies depict the senior prom as the event that sometimes overshadows graduation.  For some it was cool to have someone special to escort to the event.  For others it meant dragging a friend or relative, finding any date for the evening or just go stag.  I was fortunate to have a high school sweetheart, my someone special.
