Preface

One was expected to attend college after high school in our family.  With the Vietnam Conflict behind us, there was no longer an urgency to enlist.  My grades in high school was a major contributing factor as to how I would begin my post high school experience.  The goal of becoming a dentist was not certain, but I at least had to try.  The other factor was my sense of financial frugality.  From here on out every decision would have a price.
